Purpose

  • Provide new students with information about their rights, the importance of inclusivity, and awareness of sexual harassment, fostering a culture of respect and understanding.
  • Address any issues or conflicts related to discrimination, exclusion, or sexual harassment on-site during orientation activities, ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
  • Serve in an advisory or overseeing role for all orientation activities and other events of the student organisation, including raising awareness during the planning process.

Recognition

The 2 Equal Opportunities Ambassadors of each student organisation will be listed on the Student Learning Experience System (SLES).

 

Nomination

Nominate two members (one male and one female, preferably) from the executive committee or the orientation activities organisation committee of each student organisation.
