Sharing of Scholarship Recipients - HUI Ka Tung

I am writing to express my sincere gratitude to the donors and committee members for choosing me as a recipient of the HKBU Alumni Gratitude Scholarship. I am grateful for your belief and support. I believe this scholarship will motivate me to get closer to achieving my academic goals and let me step out of my comfort zone to overcome different challenges.

Currently I am a second-year student majoring in human resources management and hope to go into the field in the future to learn and work to balance the relationship between employer and employees. I had joined the exchange program in Yonsei University in Korea last summer. It was my first exchange program in which I improved my communication skills with other foreign students in English and improved my oral Korean. To learn more and widen my insight, I will join an internship program this summer.

The scholarship will help fund the tuition fee for the following semester. It also acts as financial aid for my coming exchange program in 2026. It allows me to pursue my dream and join more extracurricular activities by alleviating my financial burden and enriching my university life experience. Moreover, it also enhances my academic performance as I have set a clear goal after having different learning experience.

On the way to pursue my academic excellence while balancing the extracurricular activities, it is essential for me to develop a better time management. This is one of my challenges and obstacles that I need to face. Moving forward, I decided to improve my organizational skills to allocate my time effectively and achieve my goal.

The HKBU Alumni Gratitude Scholarship brings incredibly positive impacts to my life and studies. It gives me not only more opportunities to achieve my future goals and seek changes in my university life, but also a sense of confidence.

Finally, I hope that more students can also get the benefits from this scholarship in the future. I believe that it will serve as a helpful hand to them as well. Thank you for selecting me as one of the recipients again.
