Title of the talk: Opportunities for LGBTQ students for mentorship, career networking, and community connections
Abstract: Concerned with finding a job after graduation? What should you focus on in undergraduate or graduate school to best fit the job you're thinking about? As an LGBTQ student, how can you seamlessly transition to the working world after graduation? Learn how to get professional perspectives about these and similar questions through mentorship. LGBTQ student alumni will also be on hand to share their experiences with mentors who gave them career and social guidance navigating the transition to work in HK from a queer perspective. After graduation (or even still as a student), learn about opportunities to network with HK's LGBTQ professionals, as well as connecting and volunteering to support HK's LGBTQ community.
