*First-come, first-served. Priority will be given to full-time UGC-funded undergraduates except those on inbound exchange at HKBU, unless otherwise specified.

*(Updated on 13 Sep 2024) Students who are on inbound exchange at HKBU are NOT eligible to apply. 

 

Trip fee
  • The trip fee includes the HKBU insurance, local traveling at the destination, admission fee and designated expenses of official trip activities.
  • The trip fee includes accommodation (except Taipei ).
  • The trip fee does NOT include airfare (except Shanghai ), visa fee if any, non-official meal expenses, personal expenses, etc. Participants should arrange and pay for these items.
  • (Updated on 10 Sep 2024) The trip fee is non-transferable from person to person. Requests for refund of the trip fee will NOT be entertained, except when a trip participation quota cannot be provided to the applicant.

  • Please refer to the above table for the eligibility of recipients.
  • Recipients who are full-time UGC-funded undergraduates will be funded by the Student Activities Fund.
  • Recipients who are full-time non-UGC-funded undergraduates will be funded by the School of Continuing Education. The maximum number of recipients to be subsidised is 30 on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • The recipients must complete the official trip, be punctual for and participate actively in all assigned activities, as well as complete pre- and post-trip formalities (e.g., attending pre-trip briefing sessions, and submitting surveys/evaluations to the Career Centre).

 

Overall arrangements

All arrangements are based on the current socio-economic and political conditions of the destinations and Hong Kong, and are therefore tentative. Participants should be flexible and anticipate possible changes.​
