Meituan Visit
A group of 30 HKBU students, both local and non-local, recently had the incredible opportunity to visit Meituan in Shenzhen (美團深圳辦公室). Eager to understand more about the Greater Bay Area, they participated in a guided tour of Meituan's operation center, gaining valuable insights into its innovative business model. Students were particularly amazed by Meituan's low-air economy delivery service. The interactive sharing was particularly enlightening, showcasing the diverse career opportunities available within the company. Most agreed that the visit enhanced their understanding of the Shenzhen employment market and local work culture, and it was truly inspiring to witness how Meituan is shaping the future of services and technology. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Meituan and Prof. Bernard Wu, Honorary Court Member of HKBU, for providing us with this invaluable opportunity. We sincerely appreciate the representatives' efforts, which have inspired our students to explore the exciting possibilities within the company.
