Bursaries and Loans

The Providence Foundation Bursaries aim to provide assistance, ranges from HK$6,000 to HK$15,000 per recipient, to not more than 10 full-time local UGC-funded undergraduates with genuine financial need and satisfactory academic performance. 

Eligibility

  1. Applicants should be full-time local students leading to first and graduate degrees; and
  2. Applicants should achieve satisfactory academic performance; and
    1. New Students (Year 1 Entry) DSE score of 22 or above (3 core subjects + 2 electives)
    2. New Students (Senior Entry): CGPA ≥ 2.8
    3. Current Students: CGPA ≥ 2.8
  3. Applicants should have genuine financial need and challenging family financial circumstances.

Students who have genuine financial need and meet the application eligibilities can apply for both Providence Foundation Bursaries and University Bursaries and Loans in the academic year 2026-27.

Application Method

  1. Applicants should submit the completed Application Form and Form of Additional Information with relevant documents to the Scholarships & Financial Aid Unit of the Office of Student Affairs in person during the opening hours:
    • Address: WLB 401E, The Wing Lung Bank Building for Business Studies, Shaw Campus
    • Opening hours:  Mon to Fri, 9am-1pm; 2pm-5:30pm
      (Closed on Sat, Sun and public holidays)
