This is a meaningful activity in collaboration with the non-profit organization Foodlink, which students have the chance to collect unsold bread from bakery shops and learn to use food waste processors and garbage disposal systems. The collected bread would be redistributed to the hungry and needy. This activity also allow students to understand the problem of food waste and the challenges faced by low-income households, the homeless, and others in need, while also helping to reduce hunger in Hong Kong.
