Sustainable Fashion in Practice (Green Quest Workshop with demonstration and skills sharing on Upcycling)
Fashion upcycling is about cutting, sewing, adding embellishments and repurposing old or unwanted garments into something fashionable, sustainable and unique. Our speaker, Z, will demonstrate practical and handy skills to upcycle fashion and share his experience from being an amateur fashion enthusiast to working as a stylist.
About the speaker:
Z, a graduate of HKBU School of Communication, is a freelance stylist and photographer working in Hong Kong. After exploring the local fashion scene from competing in "Fashion Killer", a reality show of ViuTV, he began working with artists including Zelos Wong and breakout stars from King Maker V. His work heavily focuses on repurposing and transforming old garments, creating looks that are non-conforming, personalized, and one of a kind.
