Event Planner

If you have a passion for serving Mainland students at HKBU, wish to make new friends, and have some exciting new activity ideas that you want to implement, come and become an "Event Planner"!

You have to…
  • Organise activities which you are interested in for HKBU Mainland students
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and executing the activity
  • Participate in the activity

Examples:

  • A few sessions of guitar lessons or handicraft workshops, etc.
  • One-time event, e.g., a basketball game, a visit to an exhibition, etc.
  • Regular activities such as weekly board games, ball games, etc. *

  • Venue booking support
  • Advice and guidance from Mainland Student Services Unit on the activity
  • Make friends with schoolmates who share the same interests and enrich your study life at HKBU

** Activities involving skill instruction or activities with risk will require specific certificates or licenses, such as mount craft certificate for hiking and camping activity or a yoga instructor license for yoga class.

Register for the Event Planner

Target: HKBU Mainland students

Registration: Prepare the detailed activity plan (including the content, nature of the activity, frequency, duration of each session, location, target number of participants, areas where MSS support is needed, etc.), and click here to submit.

Schedule of activity: Anytime within January to May 2025

Remuneration: HK$ 70 per hour

Deadline: 19 January 2025

MSS will first review the content of the proposal and will discuss further details with the selected participants. Please pay attention to notifications via email or WeChat.
