HKICT Awards 2026 - Student Innovation Award
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2026 – Student Innovation Award.
This prestigious award is organised by the Digital Policy Office and led by the Hong Kong Innovative Technology Development Association (HKITDA) with The Association of I.T. Leaders in Education (AiTLE) and Hong Kong Technology Advancement Group Limited (HKtag) as our co-organisations. It aims to provide a stage for students to showcase their innovative concepts and motivate potential talent to pursue careers as ICT professionals.
Important Dates:
- Enrolment Deadline: 20 July 2026
- Adjudication Period: 17 August – 25 September 2026
- Awards Ceremony: Mid November 2026
Prestige and Recognition:
- Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners receive official HKICTA trophies and prizes.
- Winners are authorised to display the official HKICTA logo in their promotional materials, portfolios, and communications.
- Certificate of Merit recipients receive an official certificate of recognition.
Promotional & Networking Opportunities:
- Winners are featured in various promotional campaigns to publicise their achievements across media, events, and HKITDA platforms.
- Winners will be invited to join the Awards Presentation Ceremony to connect with ICT industry practitioners and the wider community.
Global Opportunities:
- Awardees will receive support for entering other regional and international awards and competitions, expanding their recognition beyond Hong Kong.
- “Higher Education” Gold Award winner(s) of Student Innovation Category will also be entitled to receive Green Channel Interview (conditional) offer of “HK Tech 300 Seed Fund” by City University of Hong Kong. The awardee will receive a seed fund of up to HKD100,000 and other support from the programme after passing the interview.
