  3. Resume / Cover Letter Review: Learn the skills and work together to create/refine your CV and Cover Letter tailored to specific job applications to make a strong impression.
  4. Job Search Strategies: Learn effective job search techniques, including how to use job boards, networking, and leveraging social media
  5. Interview Preparation: Practice interview techniques, along with strategies to answer common interview questions
  6. Personal Branding: Help with creating a professional online presence, including optimizing your LinkedIn profile
  7. Professional Development Resources: Identify any gap and recommend workshops, internships, career fairs, networking events, exploration trips, online courses, etc. that can enhance your exposure and skills
  8. On-going Support & Reflection: After applying for jobs or attending interviews, review your experiences with the advisor. Reflect on what worked well and what could be improved for future opportunities.

  2. Get your draft CV ready while booking your consultation
  3. Pick your time slot
  4. Confirm your booking by paying a cash deposit of HKD300 (4 working days before consultation date) at WLB402: Career Centre, Wing Lung Bank Building for Business Studies, Shaw Campus. (look for Ms. Cindy Lam, T: 3411 7075; E: lsfcindy@hkbu.edu.hk).
  5. Meet with your Adviser on time
