[UG] Green Quest Seminar Series 2018
08 FEB - 22 MAR 2018The Undergraduate Halls believe GREEN is a living style in striving for balance and aiming for sustainability. Through seminar series on topics like Green Living, Sustainability and Urban Planning by professional speakers, students will gain deeper understanding to the green challenges and how the green effort could be enhanced further in Hong Kong and at the HKBU.
Students from all study majors are welcomed!

[UG] Waste Recycling Campaign (Semester 1, 2017-18)
06 DEC 2017 - 12 JAN 2018As the checkout period is drawing near, you may wonder how to deal with your unwanted items. Have you thought of donating the recyclables to NGOs? The UG Halls is launching a Waste Recycling Campaign:
Collection Period: 6 Dec 2017 – 12 Jan 2018
Collection Points: Recycling Cages (Opposite to the Entrances of South & North Towers)
Collectable Items: Clothes, Shoes, Plush Toys, Bed Sheet, Bags (They will be sorted and shipped to the Southeast Asia for reuse; or be transformed into industrial rags or working gloves by the Conservancy Association.)

[UG] Green Quester Program - Green Walk In Singapore
06 OCT 2017 - 12 JAN 2018Singapore ranked third in Asia on a global ranking of livable cities, exceled Hong Kong on the list. In this study tour, participants will experience Singapore and uncover her secret to being a livable and sustainable city. Observations and insights from walking through the city and meeting with local citizens and professional practitioners in this neighboring metropolis, will be useful references on promoting sustainability in Hong Kong.

[UG] Green Quest with Overseas Experiential Green & Cultural Tour to Denmark and Sweden

As complement to the green programs at the Undergraduate Halls, Green Quest is an annual green program organized by the Undergraduate Halls to enhance green awareness of HKBU students through seminar series and overseas experiential tour.

[UG] Green Quester Program: Thumbiano, Product Upcycling Workshop
29 SEP - 09 NOV 2017Green Quester Program: Thumbiano, Product Upcycling Workshop 綠影獵人活動:升級再造手指琴工作坊
The Undergraduate Halls Green Quester Programs aim to promote green and health mindfulness to students. Upcycling is a way to rethink product design and instill new values in waste. In this workshop, students will make their own Thumbiano with spokes collected from old bicycle wheels and wood from wine boxes. Mr Kevin Cheung, an upcycling product designer, will lead the workshop and share his experience on product upcycling. Join us now!
