As the new academic year begins, the Career Centre is proud to spotlight the inspiring journey of Audacity Limited. Founded by Leo Lau, a recent BBA graduate, Audacity won at last year’s Start-up Saturday—an annual competition hosted by the Career Centre to unleash student entrepreneurship. Winners receive seed funding and one-year incubation support, turning ideas into impactful realities.
Audacity Limited: Sustainability Meets Performance
Born in Hong Kong, Audacity is redefining sportswear for the city’s unique climate. Their high-performance apparel is tailored specifically for Hong Kong’s humidity and rain, merging cutting-edge technology with eco-conscious materials. Every piece is designed with durability, comfort, and environmental responsibility in mind, proving that style and sustainability can go hand in hand.
In a unique collaboration, Audacity was also invited to design exclusive sportswear souvenirs for students. The collection features sweaters and sports bags crafted from plant-based materials, proudly imprinted with the Career Centre new icon and the uplifting slogan “Look ahead Lead the future.” These items symbolize the Centre’s commitment to student empowerment.
Student Start-up x Student Talent
The Centre launched a creative campaign to engage students in designing souvenirs that reflect youthful energy and vision. Qiwen LIU, a master’s student in Visual Arts, was selected to create a vibrant new Career Centre icon for printing on these souvenirs.
