Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) is committed to the education of a whole person, hoping that our students will have well-rounded development of their academic studies, personal qualities and professional skills in order to contribute to society after their graduation.
With the outbreak of COVID-19, while some off-shore internship programmes are unable to operate, Career Centre (CC) aims to offer students the opportunity to join overseas virtual internships. With flexible working arrangement and remote work structure, work meetings and supervision could be done virtually, using the latest communication technology.
Students could work from home and still engage the world while bearing less financial burden and breaking the physical constraints.
Eligibility
- All HKBU full-time students are eligible to join the scheme.
Details
- The virtual internship will be done under supervision by the host company.
- Students are required to commit at least a 120-hour virtual internship on a part-time basis. The exact working period and hour will be negotiated between the host company and the student.
