Professor Howard HW Ling, MH
Professor of Practice, Hong Kong Baptist University | Food Scientist
Professor Ling began his career in food science and social entrepreneurship in 2004. Since then, he has served as a consultant for over 100 social enterprises and has helped raise more than HKD 300 million to support their development. In recognition of his dedication to community service—especially his contributions to social enterprise development—he was honoured with the Hong Kong Humanity Award in 2017.

Dr. Ho is a passionate educator dedicated to enhancing students’ learning experiences in science through innovative and creative approaches, both inside and outside the classroom. His commitment to innovation, creativity, and excellence in teaching has earned him numerous awards and recognitions at both local and international levels. He also serves on advisory committees for government bodies, supporting secondary school education and the testing and certification industry in Hong Kong.
