Step into a chillingly realistic crime scene and become part of the story in this immersive, interactive theatre experience, a STEAM project developed in collaboration with the Chemistry Department's CHEM4086 Forensic Analytical Chemistry course.
Working alongside forensic students, you'll analyze evidence using real-world techniques, explore the psychology of the perpetrator, victim, and witnesses, and deduce the motives behind the criminal act. From meticulously planning the crime to its ultimate resolution, every detail has been crafted to draw you into a captivating investigation.
Process Drama Experience: Engage in a 'REAL' crime scene, solving mysteries firsthand and experiencing the excitement of an investigation.
Creative and Logical Thinking Training: Sharpen your creative and critical thinking skills as you analyse evidence, uncover hidden clues, and develop insightful deductions.
STEAM Program Practice: Integrate STEAM elements, criminal psychology, and ethical implications, understanding their importance in real-life situations.
Michael Ipv 葉君博
Michael holds an MFA in Drama from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts majoring in Playwriting. He has previously served as a Resident Teaching Artist at Chung Ying Theatre, and as Creative Director at Theatre Noir and Semantic Theatre. With years of experience as a primary school teacher, he possesses extensive knowledge in the field of education.
Currently, Michael works as a freelance theatre worker, focusing on writing and directing community theatre productions that cater to diverse audiences include children, the elderly, retirees, individuals in recovery, and women’s organisations.
Some notable main stage plays include Rose of Nightingale (Hong Kong Repertory Theater, 2022), Mulan Prequel (Guangdong Performance Co., Ltd., Harbin Zhongtai Brothers Culture Media Co., Ltd., 2019), The Yellow Rubber Duck (Chung Ying Theater Co.,Ltd., 2018 ), Confucius 63 Revisit (Chung Ying Theater Co.,Ltd., 2017), and Confucius 63 (Chung Ying Theater Co.,Ltd.,2016).
