This showcase features ten one-minute videos created by students in GEND3005: Gender, Society, Culture – the core course of Gender Studies Concentration. Using AI-generated media and storytelling techniques, students transform critical perspectives on gender and sexuality into one-minute advertisements.
Join us for a screening and discussion on how gender shapes the way we live, work, love, and see the world. Discover how our student directors use AI-powered storytelling to challenge stereotypes and inequalities and envision a more inclusive, gender-equal world.
Presented in collaboration with Professor Iris Lo as part of GEND3005: Gender, Society, and Culture.
Critically reflect on how AI-assisted storytelling can challenge gender stereotypes and broaden perspectives on gender and sexuality.
Hear from our student directors and join a discussion about diverse issues related to gender and sexuality and ways to imagine a more inclusive, gender-equal world.
