Creativity is subtle: when it lacks substance, it can easily become hollow and cliché; however, if the entire work only reflects the author’s voice, then writing an essay may suffice. This is the challenge of creation lies: in navigating the space between resemblance and disparity, in the delicate illusion of truth…
In this event, Mr. Ray Yeung, the director and screenwriter of All Shall Be Well, together with co-producer Professor Denise Tang, will share with students how to transform significant social issues into vivid and relatable character destinies, and how creative work can possess a unique value that cannot be replaced by an essay or thesis.
