Ambassadors’ Work & Achievement

This year, ambassadors organised eight activities including one cultural festival, five student-led events and three workshops at art fairs. They also received skillful training sessions and hands-on experience in various roles including audio operator, social media content creator, videographer, photographer and graphic designer. All these initiatives are designed to unlock ambassadors’ potential and competencies.

Ambassadors’ Feedback

“It was an inspiring experience to learn the end‑to‑end event‑organisation process from scratch. … I also recognised that unpredictability is inevitable and we must be ready to adapt. … Overall, this experience gave me a strong sense of achievement and highlighted areas for improvement in future event planning.”
(Kelly HUANG / Organiser of “Halloween Relaxing Night” )

“I developed most in design, communication and content planning through this experience. ... Throughout the process, I learnt that it is crucial to put myself in participants’ shoes and to be open to external opinions. ... For every promotional item we produced, the priority was to combine visual and content engagement with ease of understanding. Being purely informative is not always the priority.”
(Jacky HUNG/ Co-organiser of ‘Chill韓 Korean Cultural Festival 2026’)

“At this art fair, I had the opportunity to showcase my work and discuss my ideas with people from diverse backgrounds, and it provided a new platform to share my concepts and learn.”
(Elyse TSANG / Installation artist featured at ‘Unbound Your LIVE’ art fair)

“I gained great experience working on curved, 3D surfaces by drawing and designing graphics on fisheye mirrors. Although I made many mistakes and had to redraw, I was happy to present my own ideas, cartoons, and designs. It was truly an honor to see the works successfully displayed, and to watch people stop and enjoyed them.”
(Hazel CHUNG / Designer featured at ‘Unbound Your LIVE’ art fair)

“Creating social media post about global Easter traditions gave me three key takeaways: visuals are crucial for driving engagement; social media is also a great way to share educational and cross-cultural content; and most importantly, accuracy matter because public content endures and credibility is fragile.”
(Yoyo YAN/ Social Media Content Creator)

“This event was interesting. Using AI to generate a short video was easier than I expected, and the results were better than I imagined. It made me feel that creating a video for fun on my own would be quite easy.”
(Sharon CHEUNG / Participant of ‘Story to Screen: AI Filmmaking’ Workshop)

“The training gave me a clear picture of how live audio work actually operates and broadened my horizons. Strawberry Fung was very well-prepared as a facilitator. She let us learn by building a live audio setup ourselves and then gave thorough feedback. Her comments were insightful, directly relevant to our work, and in professional standards.”
(Hayley SIT/ Participant of ‘Audio Operator Training’)
