Green Quest Seminar Series: Green Communities and Sustainable Architecture in Copenhagen

    25 FEB 2021
Green Quest Seminar Series: Green Communities and Sustainable Architecture in Copenhagen

The City of Copenhagen is becoming more dense in population and there is suddenly a lack of public green spaces and lack of space to create them. One way of solving the problem is to start using rooftops for green and active purposes. This is a fairly new urban tendency in Copenhagen. This CCL-recognised seminar will unfold and discuss existing examples of rooftop projects either initiated by the government or started “bottom up” by locally engaged people.
It will also show examples of sustainable architecture in Copenhagen using recycled materials and upcycling methods.
