    Peer Assistant Recruitment 2024/25

    About Learning Commons

    The Learning Commons at HKBU AAB Level 4 and FSC Level 6 are two significant student amenities on campus that provide conducive learning environments to facilitate students' individual and collaborative learning. We provide comprehensive services and a wide range of facilities to cater to the needs of students and staff, such as group study rooms, large seminar rooms, computers and printing services.

    Remuneration

    $55/hour

    Working Hours

    Maximum 17 hours per week

    Responsibilities

    • Daily operations and front-line engagements such as:
      • Assisting in room booking service;
      • Handling user enquiries;
      • Resolving printer problems;
      • Leading guided tours; and
      • Providing support to university events.
    • Other ad hoc duties assigned by the Office of Student Affairs.

    Requirements

    • A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
    • Proficiency in MS office; and
    • Well organised, attentive to detail and capable of working independently.
