Students with disabilities or special educational needs are strongly advised to acquire career coaching and guidance services on job search skills such as CV polishing, cover letter writing, interview techniques to have a well preparation for the careerpath. A series of career preparation, professional employment advices, personalized job matching services are provided by the government and relevant non-governmental organizations for students with disabilities or special educational needs.

Social enterprises, NGOs and SMEs (possibly early start-up)

160 hours, or up to a total of 320 hours (equivalent to two months),
either on a part-time or full-time basis, or renewable upon satisfactory performance of the individuals

  1. ≥ 150 hours Business Curriculum Training, Ability Enhancement Training & Coaching
  • 90-hour business course which covers skills in communication, leadership and project management
  • 60-hour course in career planning, survival skills at workplace, interpersonal skills, etc.
  1. ≥ 120 hours business projects at Dialogue Experience
  2. ≥ 600 hours on-the-job training at office of project champions

We strive to support the growth of the next generation. Our summer internship programme provides tertiary-level students with a sampling of what it is like to work in a dynamic business environment with various disciplines ranging from railway operations, railway and property development projects, property management, commercial and marketing field to other support functions. Throughout the programme, we will support you to develop new skills and broaden your exposure which will enable you to better prepare for the future transition from study to work and understand your career interest.
You will work in one of our business units to gain hands-on experience through on-the-job training and assignments under the coaching of supervisors. You will acquire new skills and perspectives via active involvement in different assignments, such as preparing reports, documents and correspondences, conducting researches and data analysis, taking part in engineering projects with site / workshop / laboratory visits, managing records and documentation as well as other assigned duties.
You should be pursuing a Degree / Associate Degree / Higher Diploma or equivalent with good communication skills and a desire to achieve and contribute. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Knowledge of other programming and data analysis tools is an advantage.
