According to the present University Housing Policy, UGC-funded full-time non-local undergraduate students will be provided with on-campus hostel places in the 1st year of their studies. In their 2nd year of studies, students can apply for on-campus or off-campus accommodation, subject to availability. No University accommodation (on-campus or off-campus) will be provided starting from their 3rd year of studies.

Remarks:
1.The estimated rental charge of off-campus accommodation would be around HK$4,000 to $5,000 per month and the University would not provide any financial subsidy towards the rental charges
2. University Accommodation (on-campus of off-campus) will not be provided for non-local undergraduate students who, after having completed a local or overseas programme, take up senior-year places for articulation to any degree programme at the University.

Students must possess a student status of “Normal Study” as defined by the Academic Registry during the stay in the Student Halls. You may check your student status in BUniPort > Profile > Personal Particulars & Study Record.
