Bathroom Rescue Project 浴室安全計劃

Do you know 12.9% of the domestic accidents happened in the bathroom? It is of utmost importance to aware of these accidents especially targets to the singleton elderly!

Bathroom Rescue Project aims to create a safe living environment for the elderly. On the same day, you will attend a bathroom safety course with practical skill training on applying anti-slip Nano coating, and then apply your skills to improve safety of elderly bathroom.

Join elderly service to show your care and serve the elderly in our community!

Time12:30pm - 2:00pm @ HKBU
          -  Attend Training on Bathroom Safety Theory and Trial Coating Experience
             2:00pm - 4:30pm @ Tak Tin Estate, Lam Tin
          - Visit TWO elderly to Show your Care and Apply Anti-slip Coating to their Bathroom Floor
          - Attend Post-service Debriefing Session

Eligibility: Open to all UGC-funded degree seeking Undergraduate students, with priority to UGH/NTT
                  hall residents
Fee: Free of charge (volunteers are fully sponsored to the training and service)
Medium of instruction: Cantonese (with English supported)
Recognition: On successful completion, participants will receive
                       1) CCL, 2) Certificate, 3) Service Hours on Community Service Hours Scheme

First-come-first-served, selection interview may be required.
