    In this CCL-recognised 3-class workshop, we will practice some basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, and different types of meditations together, including Body Scan, Mindfulness Meditation and Dancing Meditation to cultivate mindfulness qualities and awareness. You can expect feeling calm and a sense of connection with yourself after the class.

    [UG] Soong Hall - Hall Fellow Seminars Series (變幻是永恆? - 斜槓型創業之必要 / 全方位活動策劃人之日常)

    We are happy to have our Soong Hall Fellow (Miss Claire Lo), a literal artist and writer (named Siu Syu) to conduct a few CCL-accredited activities for us. Claire is the founder and director of Market Fairish. She is very enthusiastic about organizing cultural-related and entertainment events, and she is an experienced organiser in weekend bazaars, art workshops, exhibitions etc. She is also a book-lover and a writer who loves sharing her ideas and experience with others.

    Claire is going to conduct two sharing seminars (CCL-accredited) in October and November. If you would like to turn your passion of arts and books into action, and perhaps some inspiration for your future career and entrepreneurship, don’t miss the chance of meeting her!

    [UG] PUNCH for Your Health – Thai-boxing Training and Service Programme  (Phase 1)

    Being mindful of and taking actions to improve one’s physical and mental health is crucial especially during the post-pandemic recovery.  
    In PUNCH for Your Health, students will learn the sports and strengthen oneself, then carry forward the positivity by providing training to some underprivileged teenagers in the community.  After the training, with a bond built up between the students and the teenagers, the teenagers will be invited to visit HKBU campus for a personal development workshop, to be delivered by the students.

    [UG] PLUS+ Ambassador programme

    An internship experience to Learn, Internalise and Spread Positivity around.

    The uncertainties brought by the pandemic, including the lack of social contacts, the mandatory quarantine and worries towards the future in general, induced stress to the public. 

    The study of Positive Psychology and Life Education allows us to discover and nurture our character strengths, be resilience and learn the true meaning and value of life. PLUS+ provides training to student ambassadors on Positive Psychology and Life Education. Our ambassadors will prepare workshops and develop tools to promote positivity to various community groups. Including, to design a set of tool cards to spread the message extensively to the residents of the Undergraduate Halls.

    The Undergraduate Halls (UGH) is recruiting Green Questers, student interns who are devoted to promoting green and sustainability in the Halls and in Hong Kong. Under the internship, students will work in small teams to brainstorm, prototype, test and implement green community projects with guidance from professional supervisors.

    [UG] Community Engagement Organisers : Positive Ageing Learners Programme (CEOs- PAL)

    Have you ever thought of serving the seniors in need in the neighboring community with the talents and gifts you have? According to the 2016 Hong Kong census, about 150,000 seniors aged 65 and above live alone, and almost 300,000 elderly live with their spouse. Seniors in social isolation under the pandemic is vulnerable to loneliness, and loneliness is both a contributing factor, and a result, of many physical and mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and even cognitive decline.
