[UG] Green Quest: Local Project Internship 2021-22
When you draw “the Earth”… probably you will draw a circle with masses of green lands and blue oceans. But when you look out from the windows 30 years later, will it be the same?
In collaboration with World Wild Fund- Hong Kong (WWF-HK), the Undergraduate Halls (UGH) is recruiting Green Questers who are devoted to promoting green and sustainability in the Halls and in Hong Kong. Workshops on sustainability and project management will be provided before a student-initiated project internship supervised by WWF-HK and UGH. Under the internship, students will work in small teams to brainstorm, prototype, test and implement green community projects at their own choice.

[UG] Community Engagement Organisers : Positive Ageing Learners Programme (CEOs- PAL)
Have you ever thought of serving the seniors in need in the neighboring community with the talents and gifts you have? According to the 2016 Hong Kong census, about 150,000 seniors aged 65 and above live alone, and almost 300,000 elderly live with their spouse. Seniors in social isolation under the pandemic is vulnerable to loneliness, and loneliness is both a contributing factor, and a result, of many physical and mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and even cognitive decline.
