Hall Tutor (HT) and Non-Local Mentor (NLM) Recruitment 2021-2022
01 FEB - 12 MAR 2021The Undergraduate Halls is recruiting Hall Tutors and Non-local Mentors for academic year 2021-2022.
We are searching for student leaders committed to work with us on maintaining the Undergraduate Halls as a safe, warm and supportive living-learning environment. Hall Tutors and Non-local Mentors will receive pre-service and on-the-job communication and skills trainings and mentorship on personal development. Hall Tutors will be provided with free accommodation which could be used for meetings throughout the appointment period. All HKBU undergraduate and postgraduate students in academic year 2021-2022 are welcome.

He is the top 1% E-sports game player in the world. In this CCL-recognised seminar, he will introduce the development of E-sports in Hong Kong and the career path of game players through sharing his own experience and story. In addition, Daniel will elaborate on the positive social values of E-sports, including its contribution on building an engaging and inclusive community.

Internship Programme on Brain Health in Positive Ageing
Supervised by Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing (賽馬會耆智園)In contemporary society, physical health is not the only concern but also brain health. We cannot avoid getting old but we can live positively if there is a proper support for people with cognitive impairment.
In this internship programme, participants will be trained to host post-diagnostic support and self-management sessions to elderly with mild dementia (輕度認知障礙及早期腦退化症人士自我管理小組), under the supervision of specialists from the Jockey Club Centre for Positive Ageing. The programme is tailor-made for HKBU undergraduate students, priority to UGH residents.

[UG] Green Quest: Local Project Internship 2020-21
When you draw “the Earth”… probably you will draw a circle with masses of green lands and blue oceans. But when you look out from the windows 30 years later, will it be the same?
In collaboration with World Wild Fund- Hong Kong (WWF-HK), the Undergraduate Halls (UGH) is recruiting Green Questers who are devoted to promoting green and sustainability in the Halls and in Hong Kong. Workshops on sustainability and project management will be provided before a student-initiated project internship supervised by WWF-HK and UGH. Under the internship, students will work in small teams to brainstorm and implement green projects at their own choice.
