Health Mindfulness Programme: Box Off Depression (Phase 3)
Feeling stressed out, moody or low-spirited? Wanting to stretch out and BOX OFF your negative feelings? Join “ Box Off Depression” (BOD) for five Thai –Boxing Classes for free in October 2021, to improve your physical and mental health. The activity is delivered by Elite Thai Boxing and Fitness, a social enterprise established in 2015.

All HKBU UG students are welcome, with priority to Halls residents.

[UG] Yoga and Meditation for Beginners 2021-22
In this CCL-recognised 3-class workshop, we will practice some basic yoga postures, breathing exercises, and different types of meditations together, including Body Scan, Mindfulness Meditation and Dancing Meditation to cultivate mindfulness qualities and awareness. You can expect feeling calm and a sense of connection with yourself after the class.

[UG] Community Engagement Organisers : Positive Ageing Learners Programme (CEOs- PAL)
Have you ever thought of serving the seniors in need in the neighboring community with the talents and gifts you have? According to the 2016 Hong Kong census, about 150,000 seniors aged 65 and above live alone, and almost 300,000 elderly live with their spouse. Seniors in social isolation under the pandemic is vulnerable to loneliness, and loneliness is both a contributing factor, and a result, of many physical and mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and even cognitive decline.
