Farm Tour: Is beekeeping possible in the city? - Beetales
Beetales, a local beekeeping organisation based in Sun Hing Farm, aims to promote honey bees and ecological conservation through the concept of urban beekeeping. you will learn about bee ecology and make your own honey lip balm in this tour. The beekeepers will also share the concept of urban beekeeping, and give you a new insight into the relationship between bees and humans.
Itinerary :
1) 講解新興農場的耕作模式及其農作物
Introduction of the farming system and crops in Sun Hing Farm.
2) 養蜂講解/+參加者親身接觸蜜蜂 （視乎蜜蜂狀態）6-8月夏季人工餵飼
Introduction of beeskeeping + close contact with bees (if situation allowed)
3) 工作坊（蜂蜜潤唇膏 ）
Honey lip balm workshop
