Funding granted to support Joint U Mass Dance!

Joint U Mass Dance (HKBU Station), one of the renown and most popular events among students, was successfully held on Southorn Stadium on 16 Nov 2021 by the HKBU Dance Association. The activity was sponsored by the UGC Special Activity Grant for Sports Events with a total of $10,000. Click here for more details about the grant! 

International Association - Diwali Day

An event to celebrate Diwali was organised by HKBU International Association (IA) on 13 Nov 2021. IA introduced the history and cultural significance of Diwali to participants. Diwali is one of the major religious festivals in Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism, normally it lasts for five days from the 13th day of the dark half of the lunar month Ashvina to the second day of the light half of the lunar month Karttika.

AIA Scholarships 2021/22

Eight renewable AIA Scholarships at HK$50,000 each per year will be awarded to Year 1 local undergraduate students who have demonstrated excellent academic performance and a good record of community service or charitable work. Applications will be closed on 21 Jan 2022.

HKBU Alumni Gratitude Scholarship (AGS) 2021/22

Up to ten AGS of HK$15,000 each will be available to recognise students with special educational needs in pursuit of excellence in academic, non-academic merits and improvement in academic performance. Do apply before 28 Jan 2022!

HKSAR Government Endeavour Merit Award 2021/22

Up to nine EMA of HK$15,000 each will be available to give recognition to deserving post-secondary students with special educational needs in pursuit of excellence in academic and other areas. The application deadline is 28 Jan 2022!

HKSAR Government Talent Development Scholarship (TDS) 2021/22

Up to 150 TDS awards at HK$10,000 each will be awarded to undergraduate students who have demonstrated talent or potential in specific areas. Application will be closed on 14 Jan 2022.

HSBC Greater Bay Area (Hong Kong) Scholarship 2021/22

Awards of HK$80,000 each will be offered with mentorship, internship, networking and other real-life learning opportunities to help local undergraduate students realise their career plans in GBA. Apply by 18 Feb 2022!

HSBC Hong Kong Scholarship 2021/22

Up to six awards of HK$50,000 each will be awarded to local undergraduate students who are well-rounded and committed to Hong Kong. Grasp the chance to be a HSBC Scholar! Applications are accepted until 21 Jan 2022.

HSBC Overseas Scholarship 2022/23

Awards of up to HK$300,000 each will be available to support non-final year local undergraduate students to study abroad in 2022/23. Please make applications by 12 Jan 2022.

Innovation and Technology Scholarship 2022

25 science undergraduates in Hong Kong will each be awarded a scholarship of up to HK$150,000 for attending Overseas / Mainland Attachment Programme between 1 Jun 2022 and 31 Jul 2023. Mentorship, service project and local internship programmes will also be arranged for awardees. The internal application deadline is 14 Jan 2022.

University of Bristol Post-Graduate Scholarship 2022-2023

A scholarship of up to GBP15,000 will be awarded to a suitably qualified student

from Hong Kong going to Bristol for post-graduate studies in the academic year commencing in Sep 2022. The application deadline is 14 Mar 2022.

China Telecom Scholarship 2021
