Introduction

Coaching, Organization Development, and Engagement (CODE) Programme is a series of tailor-made training sessions for student officers in different positions. It aims to equip student officers with the knowledge and practical skills that are essential to the development of student organizations. The programme is divided into two parts, namely Core Seminars and Workshops. The former will bring you necessary issues that you should pay attention to when organizing activities for your members, while the latter provides opportunities for you to know more about your peers in order to build a winning team; and the latest trend of social media promotion and practical marketing skills for student organizations. All seminars and workshops are recognized for CCL.

Coaching, Organization Development, and Engagement (CODE) Programme 是一系列為學生組織幹事度身訂造的訓練講座及工作坊,令不同崗位的幹事能學習與舉辦活動相關的知識及實用技巧。 CODE將分為兩部份,包括核心講座及工作坊。學生組織幹事透過出席核心講座,了解於舉辦活動期間需要注意的事項;工作坊則提供機會,讓你更了解你的莊員成就一個成功的團隊,亦可了解社交媒體的最新發展,學習實用的營銷技巧。所有講座及工作坊均獲聯通課程CCL認可。

Core Seminars

Each Student Organization MUST send at least one representative to attend each of the two seminars. Please note that it is essential to complete the two core seminars in order to:

  • Reserve venues via Venue and Facilities Booking System for July and August; and
  • Organize Sales Week 2018.

參加者將了解於籌辦活動時需要注意的各項平等機會事宜,包括潛在的性騷擾及歧視個案。另外,講座亦會介紹學生組織在活動期間,如何合適地收集會員的個人資料,及過程中所需要注意的原則及事頂,以避免泄露同學敏感資料,誤墮法網。

This seminar will equip student officers with the necessary knowledge in handling financial matters for their societies. SA’s financial support for student activities will also be introduced. You will also secure tips to apply for subsidies, learn how to effectively plan a budget and prepare a financial report. In addition, you will grasp some important reminders in seeking sponsorships, purchasing and handling sales agreement.

此講座除了介紹學生事務處為學生組織提供的各種活動資助計劃之外,亦向學生組織幹事分享處理財政事宜的要訣,包括在申請資助計劃時要留意的地方、如何有效地訂立財政預算及準備財政報告。另外,講座亦會介紹在尋求贊助、採購及處理銷售安排的注意事項。

Social media industry is booming nowadays. Are you resourceful enough to promote your societies and clubs via different online channels? In this workshop, consultant from LinkedIn will share with you the skills using LinkedIn to create individual profiles and organizational pages and share content, with an aim to enhance personal brand-building as well as audience engagement.
In addition, our staff from Office of Student Affairs will also provide you with social etiquette tips for marketing, coordinating your events, establishing professional relationships with partners, follow-ups with guests pre-/ post-event, as well as the way to handle when crisis emerge.

除此之外,活動的策劃及進行期間,無論是廣邀嘉賓或參加者,定必有很多機會與校內、外不同身份的人士接觸,本處職員將分享在推廣活動、邀請和接待嘉賓、及活動前後跟進時需注意的事情,以及萬一發生公關災難時的處理方法。
