[HKBU International Association] Boundless Ocean, Vast Skies: Encapsulating the beauty of Hong Kong
On the 19th of November 2022, the Hong Kong Baptist University International Association (IA) organised a photography workshop, supported by the Office of Student Affairs and the funding of the Global Engagement Squad (GES), on a night boat titled Boundless Ocean, Vast Skies. The workshop aims to showcase Hong Kong’s status as a world-renowned historic port. Apart from that, this workshop aimed to allow students to appreciate and encapsulate the beauty of Hong Kong while improving their photography skills.
Forty international and ethnic minority students registered and attended the workshop. Zain Koreshi, president of IA, presented a speech, and the HKBUIA cabinet conducted the seminar on capturing lovely photos. After that, dinner was served, and the food and drinks were superb. Participants tested their newly acquired skills and uploaded pictures to participate in the photography competition. After submitting photos, participants voted on the best pictures, and the top 3 photos were determined. Eric Ong, the vice president of IA, presented the prizes to the top three winners.
IA would like to thank all participants and Global Engagement Squad (GES) for making this workshop a success, and we hope to see more participants in IA’s future events.
