This event, co-organized by Department of Government and International Studies (GIS) and Comparative Governance and Policy Research Centre (CGPC), contains a film show and a post-screening sharing session. The film is a French-Canadian documentary on the dwindling natural resource of sand: its numerous utilities and environmental impact. The post-screening sharing is delivered by Mr. Eddie Tse, who would help students to analyze the arguments articulated by the Film’s director to Hong Kong’s land debate, including but not limited to the plan to reclaim 1,700 ha. off Lantau.
