ICM Distinguished Lecture Series - The latest trend for TV Production in Hong Kong

Patrick Siu, Managing Director of Wellfit Multi-Media Group, has over 30 years of experience in the multimedia industry. He spares no effort in giving back to his alma mater and society. Not only did he serve as a guest lecturer for the School of Communication at HKBU, he also helped his alma mater to organise and produce mega events in celebration of the anniversaries of HKBU, as well as the 14th Global Chinese Universities Student Film and Television Festival. Four years ago, Siu initiated the Sounds Great project which produces audio books of celebrity interviews, pop music and literary classics to benefit over 20,000 elderly people. Over the years, he has worked for the Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) where he produced programmes such as Enjoy Yourself Tonight and TVB Anniversary Gala, and earned multiple accolades including Gold Medal from New York Festivals TV & Film Awards. Graduated from the Department of Geography in 1984, Siu understands that knowledge is boundless – after the conferral of his Master’s degree in Media Management by HKBU, he started the Doctor of Business Administration programme at HKBU last year. He was conferred the Distinguished Alumni Award and Distinguished Communication Alumni Award from HKBU this year.

好合拍多媒體集團的主席蕭潮順，擁有逾30年的媒體製作經驗。他不忘回饋母校和社會，除擔任浸大傳理學院客席講師外，多年來還協助母校籌辦和製作校慶節目及以及第一屆全球大學生電影節等多個大型活動。蕭先生還在四年前創立非牟利項目「好聲」，以名人專訪、流行音樂及經典文學製作有聲書，至今超過2萬位長者受惠。蕭先生在無線電視工作多年，曾製作多個綜藝節目和大型項目，例如《歡樂今宵》、《萬千星輝賀台慶》，曾獲紐約電影電視節金獎等多個榮譽。1984年畢業於浸會學院地理系的他，深明學海無涯——2012年獲浸大傳媒管理碩士學位後，去年又在母校開始修讀工商管理博士學位課程，今年獲浸大頒發傑出校友獎及傑出傳理人獎。
