The Hospital Authority (HA) Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab is now looking for interns who can work with their expert data scientists and healthcare domain specialists to develop AI solution that matters to healthcare. If you are interested in being part of the team, and wish to devote your knowledge and passion to the healthcare field using Artificial Intelligence, please send us your CV now! 

What to expect?
The interns will work in HA AI Lab, gaining practical hands-on experience on different AI techniques in healthcare and broadening your vision in AI development.

Position 1:  NLP AI researcher (multiple vacancies for Postgrad and Undergrad)

Preferred attributes:

• Experience with transformers model architecture
• Experience with unsupervised and self-supervised training
•  Experience with zero/ few shot learning, contrastive learning, and ranking technique
• Curating large natural language corpus
• Web scraping and spiders development
• PyTorch
• Python

Position 2:  Clinical Data AI researcher (multiple vacancies for Postgrad and Undergrad)

Preferred attributes:

• Experience with transformers model architecture
• Experience with boosted tree methods
• Experience with unsupervised and self-supervised training
• Experience with time-series prediction
• Data curation and preprocessing with high dimension, modality and incompleteness
• PyTorch
• Python

Position 3:  Medical Imaging AI researcher (multiple vacancies for Postgrad and Undergrad)

Preferred attributes:

• Good understanding of imaging processing techniques
• Experience with CNN for image classification and segmentation of radiological scans (CT/X-RAY etc)
• Experience in processing large amount of DICOM images (DICOM Metadata, DICOM conversion, NIFTI)
• PyTorch and/or Tensorflow
• Experience with GANs is a plus
