CODE: Coaching, Organisation Development, and Engagement Programme 2023
Introduction
Coaching, Organisation Development, and Engagement (CODE) Programme is a series of tailor-made training sessions for officers of student organisations. It aims to equip students with the knowledge and practical skills that are essential to the development of student organisations. This June, two CCL recognised workshops will be organised for student officers to enhance their personal management skills and share the smart tips in protecting their societies as well as their fellow members. Both workshops will be conducted in Cantonese.
**Each student organisation who intend to participate in Sales Week 2023/2024 MUST send representatives to attend both workshops.**

Workshop A: Becoming a Smart and Professional Student Leader

Description:
Managing a student society requires a combination of skillsets and student officers will be encountering different scenarios which demand professional handling. Advice on data protection, sexual harassment and equal opportunities as well as real examples relevant to operation of student organisations will be shared by the trainer. Tips on how to protect your student organisation from falling into any unlawful acts would be provided.

Workshop B: Protect Your Society: Handling of Financial Matters

Description:
Important tips and reminders in seeking sponsorships, purchasing and handling sales agreement for student organisations would be shared by ICAC's representative. In addition, student officers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge in handling financial matters for their societies.
Rewards
All officers, including cabinets from 2022/2023 & (potential) 2023/2024 are cordially invited. Each student organisation is required to send representative(s) to attend BOTH workshops. To encourage participation, a reward scheme has been established. Student organisations, which have sent representatives to attend both workshops in accordance to the following table, would be eligible for the corresponding number of rewards in the upcoming academic year (2023/2024):

The rewards are as follows:

Advanced Venue Booking for Student Activities |
Student organisations can book ONE venue up to 90 calendar days in advance for ONE of their activities, subject to venue availability. This reward is applicable to venues under the management of SA only. |
Additional Funding Subsidies towards Student Activities |
Student organisations would be allocated for an additional 30% subsidies or a maximum amount of HKD1,500 on top of their entitlement when applying for one of the funding schemes managed by SA for one of their activities. |

Student organisations that are unable to send any representatives to attend the two workshops above are required to provide a justification email before the application deadline. Officers will be asked to attend a series of make-up trainings.
